Do I need to remove the clear caulk around the shower first? I am painting a brass shower frame the black matte.

Question. Why wouldn’t you just take the handles off to spray them? Also, what about the inside? And the fixtures?

I spray painted a light fixture over my bathroom sink recently. I put up newspaper about 2 feet wide all around the light fixture to catch the paint spray. After I finished, I noticed that the black spray paint had got on everything in my bathroom. The paint was on my toilet, the floor, the bathtub, etc. I used solvent to wipe up the spray. I will NEVER EVER spray paint anything indoors ever again. Anything I want spray painted, I will take it outdoors and spray it there.
