I'm really enjoying these Christmas paintings. I like those swirls, that fog in the air, as if something magical is about to happen. And it is. Joni is painting a special treat for us today. A lesson learned… so 3/4 way done with my painting and can’t figure out why my acrylics are looking so dull! And flat! Absolutely lackluster! Thinking I may need to purchase fresh paints….so I look down at my large white paint….oops… it’s gesso!!! Makes a BIG difference everyone! Happy painting! Love Joni’s art by the way!!

Bonjour, qu'il est magnifique ce bonhomme de neige !!!!j'adore cette lumière !,vous retranscrire la matière ( là, la neige)tellement bien que l'on peut sentir cette neige dans nos mains.... J'ai une question, pourquoi l'ombre du bonhomme n'est pas en 2 ,voir 3 ovaux??? Vous l'avez faite comme un rectangle, j'aurais plutôt vu une ombre ovale et allongée venant vers nous...(peut-être que je me serais trompée ??? ).
