Try Ryan O´rourke , I prefer him over Muraljoe , explains better and has better paintings ( just my opinion )
@ChamberSpell7 жыл бұрын
Idk, Ryans good and all but I prefer Muraljoe. Ryan paints some incredible paintings but I wouldn't really say he's better. I'm not going to say Muraljoe is better than Ryan either though because I don't think it's right to throw one artist under the bus for the other. Especially when both have different styles. I prefer Muraljoe over Ryan because, to me, his personality is more welcoming and his style is more like my style of art. I'm more drawn to what Mural has to offer compared to Ryan is what Im getting at I guess

For most people watching this video, it is hard to comprehend the creative process of a master applying his craft to create such powerful image from memory. What it not so evident but tacit about these time-lapse videos is the years of education, experimentation to improve techniques, and most essential, training to observe until all that visual information is internalized and all that knowledge which emerges automatically when creating a piece of work. I taught my son to draw and paint and always advice him that the most important skill of an artist is observation. This video shows not only a very gifted artist but also a keen thinker with a confidence that frees him to focus in creating art from memory.

Remember the size of his canvas. I bet you're not painting as big as he is. it looks like a 1-1/2 inch, maybe 2-inch, he's using for the base waves, which would probably equate to around a 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch if you're painting on an 8x10"
