How to paint abstract/ Brushes and palette knives/ Acrylics

This video demonstrates how I approached and painted a larger abstract using acrylic paint. Abstract painting offers a new sense of freedom as an artist. I enjoy this type of art as a break from the challenges of landscape or portrait painting. I also use a variety of tools including palette knife and a cake spatula. The white paint is applied using a car putty knife. Anything is possible when painting. Acrylics dry fast and allow me to work faster and finish a painting this size in just a couple hours.
