You're welcome Lou. I wasn't sure about that paint scheme right up to putting the edge highlights on

I use an old Masterson's art wet palette and the foam in it is the same wide open sponge as the spontex pan scrubs from poundland or home bargains (approx 3 for £1) so i can afford to swap them out when they clog

I'm thinking about something similar for my set up

Kill Teams are meant to not be Rank and file but a team of specialists and so are overly detailed. However , even the rank and file are now equally detailed and it is aimed at the more unique models feel rather than ramked regular models. For me they are overly fiddly and full of details that will snap off. I prefer a simpler mini at this scale.

Undoubtedly Kill Teams are a squad of ten character models and should be treated as such. I just feel that while the level of detail in modern Citadel miniatures is great it also has a big chance of putting off newer or other less skilled/experienced painters

@@WaylandersWandering i agree, especially as if you choose not to want a fiddly detailed miniature the options on many of the newer plastics is to convert and scrub down detail rather than to add-on options like the old. Sure you get lots of character for your minis but if you're not at the key demographic (16 - 24) you will only either gum it up with poly cement (even the thin watery crap they sell now, let alone the blobby tubes from my childhood) or be unable to see half of it.
