Painting That 90's Warhammer 40,000 Adeptus Arbites Champion

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my revamped Back To The Retro Series. In this episode watch me paint a Warhammer 40,0000 Adeptus Arbites Champion from the early 1990's.
I've been is the wargaming hobby since 1993 and in that time I've owned some amazing miniatures. Looking back and comparing to today's miniatures some are not so amazing anymore, but there are still a tonne of miniatures sculpts that still stand out even by today's standards.
I'm gutted that I don't have any of my miniatures from when I was a kid to show you, it would have been good to go back and compare.
Everyone say what a joy a miniature was to paint, but being able to paint miniatures from my childhood to a level that I'm happy with was real fun to do and that's what this hobby is all about right?!
Hopefully you enjoy watching this fun little project of mine and for those of you as old as I am, I hope it brought some fond memories of 2nd edition 40K.

I love it! And I am very happy to see you releasing content again! :) May I ask if you just use water when thinning your paint to shade something as you did with rhinox hide on the creamy parts of the cloak?

Yeah just water for deep shades like the rhinox hide shade, I sometimes mix in some glaze medium if it's a soft shade and I don't want to get any tide marks. But water on it's own works.
