I was thinking can I use normal aerosol spray? and do you sand the inside before painting?

Oscar was the name of my first dog. Got him right after I bought my house, I was living the single life with my Schnauzer sidekick lol. And there's something about orange cats... every single orange cat I've come across has an absolutely wonderful demeanor. Other cats... not so much. They look for every opportunity to pretend they like you, just to cut you when you least expect it lol. Thanks for keeping the video real. I was into the hobby years ago and just started pulling stuff out again with my 8 yo son. I'm about to paint a body for my antique Associated RC10 T3 and looking for inspiration. He wants to do American flag colors and I think I'll do it similar to yours but red at the front, white center, and blue on the back. Thanks again!

Thats a coo story thanks for sharing and your nice feedback!! 👊 Oscar is the best. I miss him so much he loved coming down into the hobby cave with me to keep me company. He was an escape artist and liked going outside. He left our house like over 3 months ago now. Never returned home😔 💔 we still think about him everyday. I agree with you orange cats are the best I've ever come across. Glad to hear your back in the hobby with your son!! So exciting I have a 11 month old boy can't wait to build something with him and run rcs! Hope the body turns out how you imagine! Have fun ✌️

Another awesome tutorial from IRONSIDE!!! Thanks for the tips mate! My favorite tip which I never thought of, was using the dry erase marker on the outside of the body! Seems to work so good. I always just use a regular sharpie since the outer protective film protects the actual body but I like the idea of being able to erase mistakes in the lines or if deciding to change it up! Quick question for the tail lights you leave outside clear? Paint inside silver? And just use red bulb ?
@IRONSIDE_RC
@IRONSIDE_RC Жыл бұрын
For taillights and headlights you leave it clear on the body just tape them off on inside or use provided light Masks. You would paint the light buckets black or silver usually you can install stickers or cut to make actual led bulb fit! Those get mounted inside the body. Leaving the body clear makes you see the light buckets on the inside giving it a realistic tailight appearance. Hope this helps

Hello! Magnets are totally possible! I agree it looks a lot more realistic without body posts and clips but it depends what the body is for. Example in this video this supra body was for my TT02 chassis for racing. Don't want magnets for racing will loose the body all the time in crashes. But all my drift car body's are magnets as impacts aren't as common and style points and looks is huge part of the fun😄

How do I measure the body to fit my chasis, is it by the wheelbase or width?
@IRONSIDE_RC
@IRONSIDE_RC Жыл бұрын
Deffinately wheelbase Is the most important! If your wheels don't line up will have rubbing and steering issues! Width is good also to match up with your rim offset. If you search your chassis online can usually find the wheelbase and width pretty easy or look in you instruction manual
