The painting technique was great, the match on that rattle can paint...Not so great, looks a fair amount darker IMO. Maybe the body had been out in the sun a few years before louvers?

It's very difficult to match metallic paints, even using the paint codes. Overall, the paint came out looking good.

The finish went on great (rattle-can or not) I did a blend/full re-clear on a small panel near the headlight...on my 2022 TRX after a monster chip with Shop-line mats and a pro spray rig... Came out perfect, Took the exact same product a few months later, and shot 4 new black B pillars... And it looked like a different color entirely.

The scoops I received are pretty pitted. Hopefully I can put enough coats of primer and basecoat to fill them in.

Well, that sucks; I'm sorry they sent you a substandard product. If you don't want to send it back, try some glazing and spot putty to fill in those imperfections. It's cheap, and you pick it up at Walmart or Amazon.

I thought about it. i did three coats of primer and wet sanded them down. I just put three more on it and will wet sand tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.@@mcgurrentertainment

Everyone has their own taste and preference; completely normal. This same process can be used on different scopes or louvers. Anything you want on your car.
