the confidence in doing the voice over before actually painting is crazy. Super impressed and thanks for the tutorial.

I did this 20 years ago 😂 I was doing laundry and had bleach splash onto my skort, I loved it because it was shorts and a skirt at the same time and I was spending my time running after my son. So I looked at where the bleach made a stain and decided to make a vine going up to my hip, it turned out so well people would ask me where I bought it, so I made myself a few more and wore them for years. I did it on cotton and the color you will get depends on the base color of the dye that was used one of mine came out brown and another purple blue both of the items were black.

@BrintyArt~ Excellent Video! I love how your design turned out! FYI: Hydrogen Peroxide will Neutralize Bleach. So, when your painting, or even just certain areas of your painting, have reached a point which you don't want the bleach to further lighten the black color, you can mist or dampened that area with Hydrogen Peroxide and the bleach will stop the fading process. This is good to know because it gives you more control over your design while you are creating...EX: you can minimize the effect of bleach that you may have placed incorrectly. It will lessen the amount of post design work you have to do with the black paint + textile medium. ~~Christy~~

I’m trying to get a good handle on how this works so I can try it myself but is it truly safe to have bleach and hydrogen peroxide coming in contact with one another? That can create chlorine gas which is obviously hazardous😭

rather than tailors chalk if you’re doing a super complex design… i HIGHLY recommend getting the cheap sticks of chalk and shredding them, then adding water until you get chalk soup and then use a super thin brush and PAINT your design on. i tried this yesterday while working on an arcane project and it allowed me to be way more precise with my likes

@brintyart I just flooded your comments a bit by replying to some questions! I apologize if that comes off as annoying lol. I just clean with bleach very frequently and have a lot of experience with sewing/fabric so I thought I would provide some input. Even if the people I responded to won't see my replies, maybe future people with lol. Additionally to future people: gloves. Latex, vinyl, nitrile, any of those. The effects of bleach on hands isn't immediate, but it will fuck up your skin. Caustic burns aren't always obvious. Okay I am done now, just had to spazz out for a second ;;

That’s kinda confusing imao

I heard that bleach can form holes if it remains for too much time on the shirt. Since drawing is a long process how do you prevent it?
@mehdaemon92543 ай бұрын
this is just a guess, but since water kinda stops the bleach from bleaching, maybe you can spritz parts that you're done with with water to stop/slow down the bleach until you're done w the whole thing? or do it in steps that you can rinse between- lineart/shading kinda thing
