Perfect Finish has a fairly long work time especially if you're using a spray to lubricate the pad. I'd recommend using a lower speed and making slower passes. It's incredibly difficult to burn paint with a DA polisher and a non aggressive pad. Not busting your balls, just FYI. You're doing a great job! PS: I highly recommend watching Bryan from Apex Detail. His channel is phenomenal and has tons of great info and tips.

You have done a great job on the car. I have my 2018 Camaro SS it’s my baby 😂Well I keep it covered because I don’t drive it much in the winter. I did my car in Graphene ceramic coating and it really looks like a 💎Great job and the content is awesome ✊
@alanmorelli14264 жыл бұрын
Like Jordan mentioned earlier, move the polisher only about 1" per second. For the first two section passes, apply a bit more pressure to the polisher. About 15 lbs of pressure if you put your hands on a scale. This is where the polish will be most effective. After that, you can lighten up on the polisher for the remaining passes. Do about 4 to 8 section passes. Between 4 and 5 is a good speed setting. Check out Brian's work at Apex Detail. You mentioned CarPro CQuartz UK, what about topping it with Gliss for a bit more sparkle?

Hello Kayla. Could u explain the one, two, three , four step correction? I’m confused with that. Can u polish the ppf in the front hood? Will it get ruined? Love the content 👍
@jdisdetermined4 жыл бұрын
Multi step corrections mean just that, using multiple products around a vehicle to correct the paint and prepare it for protection. The most common is a 1 or 2 step. For a one step correction, you polish the vehicle once, balancing cut and finish. With a 2 step, you can go after defects first with a cutting pad and compound as a first step, then switch to a softer combo and polish for gloss and clarity as a second step. At times, more than two steps are needed. You need a step in between to bridge the gap between first step aggressive cutting and final step fine polishing. There is also what's known as jeweling. Which is basically a "final final" polish. After cutting and polishing you do one more ultra fine polish to bring out the most gloss and reflection possible, usually only done on show cars as the average person wouldn't even notice the difference. With modern technology and materials, more than two steps are rarely necessary or the best option for a correction. Hope that helps. Also, yes. You can indeed polish ppf, it's mainly done to deep clean and exfoliate, removing water spots, staining, etc.. They make dedicated polishes specific to it, or you can use a cleaner polish like M83.

Only thing I’d do is make sure you decontaminate the car prior to polishing, it’s an important step to make sure you don’t embed material into the paint! Clay bar, clay pads, tons of different stuff to use but yeah! Nice Cars👌🏽

@@KaylaRundle Just some thoughts... You can provide a general overview on auto insurance, what each of the coverage areas mean and what factors influence your premium. Also, regarding financing, explain the potential pitfalls to avoid such as being upside down on the car. These are usually associated with long term car loans where the dealer makes a payment fit your budget but the car is in reality not affordable. The loan amortizes so slowly, and the borrower can end up massively underwater on their car's equity even with a downpayment. I've seen this happen all the time. Also, whether it pays to get a beater to keep the miles off of your good car. 👍🏻 Love the channel by the way! You are just as meticulous I used to be with my cars. 😁👍🏻
