I've done this with Secret Weapon Washes, which were basically contrast paint...

Really nice, a bit to glossy for my taste maybe i would do a coat mat varnish :)

Thanks! I agree on the glossiness, it got more and more glossy as it dried, I think something to do with the humidity. I probably will matte varnish it at some point.
