Watching some of your early work Professor, because of all the fry I’m getting I ordered a bigger ( twice the size) grow out tank.

Saving tips. Nice

You've done many, but here's a couple of tips.y - Like your house, cut in first. Go around and do the trim seams first with 1/2" out. Then roll it out. - Sticker residue. Goof Off/Goo Gone. Orrrrrrr, grab your wife's nail polish remover which is acetone (unless you've got a can of that). Cuts all the crap. Without using any of that, if you're not familiar with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, you'll be surprised what that will remove. Get Mr. Clean... Walmart's knock off looks the same but is just cheaper and not as efficient. I use them all the time, all over. Even paint smudges on your vehicle from parking lot idiots or some familial member kissing a pole at the gas station or drive through fast food. 🙄😎

love it im about to do mine will it be ok even if i do like a 90% water change so i can be able to move the tank around ? is that safe
@PrimeTimeAquatics Жыл бұрын
Should be ok. You can always put a damp towel over the top of the tank in case you are worried about fumes contaminating the water.

@@PrimeTimeAquatics ok sounds good thank you can't wait to try this today

Would there be an issue if the tanks are already occupied? Well as long as no paint gets inside rite?

I’m not sure if any excessive fumes would have an impact?

I’m moving my tank today. While my fish are waiting in a bucket can i paint the back of tank in a reasonable amount of time? It’s a 29 gal..
@PrimeTimeAquatics4 жыл бұрын
If you go with this method it usually take a few hours (I use three coats). If you have an airstone, you will have more than enough time.

Can I still paint it, while the tank is cycling with no fish ? How about a running tank with fish and snails ?
@PrimeTimeAquatics2 жыл бұрын
It’s always better to do it without fish in the tank when possible.
@Just_Lurking82 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeTimeAquatics Is it safe though ? Especially with the tank that is cycling with out any fish ?

Use the Michaels paint It did a great job but the walmart Acrylic paint did not work Nearly as good as the Micheals Acyclic
@tiagoshade4 жыл бұрын
Hi. Have you tried plastic spray paint?
@PrimeTimeAquatics4 жыл бұрын
I haven't only because I don't like the aerosols of the spray paints. I paint almost all my tanks inside so the roll on paint works out better.
@5wisher5weet5 жыл бұрын
I guess you could stick some paper or cling film over it to protect it from scratches
