A great tutorial on yellow! It really makes you want to sit down and give it a try! I love the Fists, but painting the yellow armor seemed to be beyond my skill. This video has given me the confidence to try!

Color specific tutorials is a such a great idea! I wish the website had photograph examples of what each paint looks like on models and not just images of their approximate color.

Imperial fists yellow is my favorite paint from the contrast rage the finish is fantastic, also I know you won't show a zenithal but if you a pink to white zenithal the effect is even better.

Great tutorial, use something very similar for my Imperial Fists and it works a treat. That Imperial Fists contrast paint was a real difference maker.

I'm really becoming fond of yellows. My favorite at the moment is Bad Moon Yellow Contrast. It's such a good paint with shockingly vibrant pigment. Very nice tutorial, Emma.

Imperial fist over light pink, with white drybrush also goes super hard. Just a really great paint.

This was a really great tutorial. Very clear and really good explanations. As another mentioned the Eldar thumbnail played a part in my clicking, but getting another example of painting yellow from contrast through layering was great 👍

I have been doing it this way since the Imperial Fists Contrast came out. I am not using Wraithbone but the Imperial Fists Contrast is my favourite Citadel colour and it workd very nicely over white as well.

With doing larger miniatures such as Wraithguard could you add two layers of Imperial Fist to achieve the same result?

I did mine with mechanicus standard grey, dry brushed up with lighter shades of grey then white. Then I put Celestium blue contrast over everything, panel by panel

What would you recommend to use if you were to try this on a larger surface such as a walker or vehicle?

You still can use the same paints and steps, but with Contrast, you apply it heavily but then remove excess once its covered. This allows the pigment to cover the areas but you are stopping the pooling of the flat surfaces.

Medium base brush for small, humanish sized models. Large base brush for things like vehicles.
