How To Paint “HUMMINGBIRD & HIBISCUS” acrylic

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel for another acrylic painting tutorial. Today I’ll be showing you step-by-step how to paint a hummingbird & hibiscus flower.

Titanium white
Neon yellow
Neon pink
Neon rose
Turquoise aqua green
Phthalo cyan blue
Dioxazine, purple
Sap green
11 x 14 double primed and stretched canvas
Number 30 Filbert brush
Number 16 filbert brush
Number eight filbert brush
1 inch round mop brush for blending the background
Small round or liner brush for details

Hi Joni fello southpaw and 🇨🇦. This is sooooo beautiful. And please don’t tell me you’rs are there already.! Would be nice but way too early. When do the hummers come there? I would love to paint this. The one color you use often is so hard to find what would be a close cousin.aqua light turquoise. Tnx for all your time and talent

Thanks Gwen! The hummingbirds usually come around mid spring here:). As for the turquoise, I’m using bright aqua by liquitex and if you can’t find a green turquoise, add some yellow and white to your blue turquoise 😘🎨

Oh Joni I;d love it if you could do a painting of a sun dog ?! Google it. I have seeen so many early in the mornings usually on the way to church. Its about the only time Im up in time. Just to give you and idea where the sun would be. That thought and your imagination wow can’t wait….lol
