Hi Mario, for a home garage spray job that looks really nice the finish looks ok to me and it must be better than it was before, I didn't know you good folks get the Kapci paint where you are, I've had my Kapci Solvent paint scheme for 3 years and I really like it the colours are always good and the mixing software is easy to use👌have you tried the Kapci 6030 HS clear Mario it's a very nice product which is easy to use it give a great finish and it's a good price for the home user, they also do the 6050 UHS which is just as easy to use as the HS version👏 Thanks for another great video🙏👍John UK

Hey Mario! It turned out really good for painting a whole truck in those tight quarters. Curious, what gun settings did you use for the PRD717?

@@ehss192 settings was all over the place for this job. But full fluid, wide open fan, PSI I HAD TO KEEP ADJUSTING.

@@mariopaintclass6091 Thanks. That gun likes a lot of air. A few months ago I tried painting a car using the 717 and a 20 gallon compressor too. Half way through I ended up switching to the Drizzle D1 which made it more manageable. I still had to adjust, just not as often.

Did you spray with a HVLP or LVLP gun with your 20gal compressor?

@@steelwill78 hvlp had no time to get my LVLP which would have been the better choice.

I’m curious why you didn’t use a lvlp gun. Shouldn’t that be better with the smaller compressor you have?

Have an existing construction trailer that I’d like to give a fresh coat of paint on. All steel construction. What prep would you recommend for the surface to receive the new paint? Thank You.

@@tundrawhisperer4821 it depends on how bad the surface is. Just make sure you finish the prepping with 400 or 600 grit sandpaper.

@@mariopaintclass6091 Thank you. Surfaces are in good shape, very sound, no peeling. It’s just a bit faded now and looking to freshen it up. What type or brand of sandpaper do you recommend? And can I sand these surfaces with a 5” random orbital sander? And I’m just looking to scuff the surface, correct? Not needing to remove the old paint? Thx
