I've been painting full time for 6 years now and selling every weekend. So happy to discover you! Loose impressionism is how people describe my art, but I am always trying to improve and found your instruction super helpful. I watched ONE video on sailboats-got the concept-painted six more in my own color palette and from my own references and sold two already. One within four hours of posting on IG and the other at an exhibit four days later. You are the first artist I have come across who thinks like I do-and I felt extremely validated just hearing you say something I believed already! I agree the most important "ingredient" in painting is your self, your energy feelings excitement. the magic is that painting can communicate these feelings, thoughts, perceptions to the viewer if they look with an open heart and an open mind. Jose, this is a great tutorial. While I've always enjoyed your videos and listening to your philosophical thoughts on life and art, I'm really enjoying your more detailed instructional projects.
