Excellent stuff! Now I’ll look over your channel in hope of finding any Western Desert uniforms 🤞🏻🙂

Thanks. I hope you find the guides useful. Check out the playlist. There is a lot there. Here is a link to the 8th Army guide. It's my old format with full painting from start to finish. kzbin.info/www/bejne/emqQZHyfhsx-hNU

Nice camo painting on this small guys. I did almost all camo patterns on 28mm.

You might find it easier in 15mm. I do! at 28mm you have to get it looking very accurate but in 15mm you just have to get it looking right. Thanks again for watching!

Impressive technique, well done!

Thank you Phil. Most of what I do comes down to layers and contrast. It is tried nad tested for me.

Hi panzer! Me again, so I just have a question regarding the brown undercoat you give the miniatures, I’ve used the Vallejo camo brown but it seems to be flaking off my old metal miniatures, is this normal, any tips? I used an airbrush.
@PanzerSchuleАй бұрын
@@FrogB44 Vallejo can be a fragile paint especially on metal. It shouldn't flake off though. I've not experienced that. I rarely if ever apply the shade coat by airbrush. Perhaps brush painting it on will help.

Thank you! Makes sense as paint in the airbrush is thinner than brush on, I’ll go over them again with a brush just to be sure! Thanks panzer

Wow! Awesome work you do! I paint these same miniatures and thought mine looked good, but yours are fantastic! What brand of brush do you use? I've had a very difficult time finding any that stay reliably useful and have had to resort to using mascara brushes and just disposing of them when they no longer hold a point. Thanks for any info you can give.

Thanks! The key to my approach is contrast and depth and layering is key to that. As for brushes, I don't have any favourite, though the Army Painter Insane Detail brush has always served me well. I find purchasing brushes by mail order to be unpredictable. I like to check each brush point. Though recently I have been using synthetic brushes. They do not last too long but are cheap and always have a great point. Have you tried hair cream for refreshing and repointing your brushes? It works well with sable hairs.

@@PanzerSchule I do have a brush cleaner/conditioner paste but find mixed results with that. Probably because of the brushes. Thanks for the feedback!

The final product is very very good! How much time does it take you to paint this way? New subscriber by the way :)
@PanzerSchule3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for subscribing Winters. It takes me between 6 and 8 hours to paint 20 dependant on the complexity of the figures. These Grenadiers are around the 7 hour mark for 20. I couldn't compare this with washing/drybrushing as its been about ten years since I took that approach. Certainly not a speed painting technique. Thanks for watching. We will be posting tutorials regularly.

@@PanzerSchule Not bad at all. It takes me about the same for 8 figures using washes and tidying them up and they don't look as good 😁. I'll try this on a single figure to see how it goes. Cheers!

I prefer layering at this scale. It helps me keep everything bright and allows fir greater contrast between shades and highlights. Thanks for watching!
