Today I'd like to show you an experiment where I try to demonstrate painting LIGHT. I used this photo from Pixabay for inspiration: pixabay.com/ph...
Paint along with me, I used raw and burnt sienna, burnt umber, indigo and paynes grey.
I'm using Millford cold pressed 140lb/300g weight paper, 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm, and various brushes as mentioned in the video, but use what whatever brushes and paper you are happiest with.

Hello Lois. I got around to finishing this today and I'm rather pleased with the result! Such a great lesson in showing sunlight by contrasting with intense darks. (Would it be cheeky to mention I added a bit of salt to the area inside the doorway? And would that be a correct usage of cheeky? It's a word not heard much in the Bronx.) Love your channel!
