I was confused when you added red. I grew up with our street lined with pure white Magnolias. I never knew until your video lead me to Google magnolia pictures that there is such a variety of colors. Beautiful! You make it look so easy. TFS,

Do you come up with all your paintings from your head, or do you look at other pics/paintings? I'm a beginner, but I can do fairly well following instructions, but I don't know enough about painting to just see something in my head and paint it yet. So I'm curious. lol

Same sue but i used to paint when i was younger but then college came in and i stopped now i'm trying to gi back to it but i just can't seem to picture something and paint it right away that's why i am following instructions like u let's just hope it comes with time becoz at first u get to memorize all these little techniques by following tutorials and with time u learn how to use them in ur own paintings...

Great video thank you! My paint doesn't stay wet long enough to get this effect with the petals (when adding the red). Any suggestions? Mix in some water? I worry it will just be too diluted -- my paint, though I thought it was an ok quality, is already not as pigmented as the paint in the video.
