Space marine Dracula. Pretty on point actually. I never thought of him as past the rage. He's still very much in there, he's just gotten so angry that it looped around into being calm. His sculpt is gorgeous. I'm not a Blood Angels player, but he looks like a joy to paint.

Mephiston is still on my to get list. Now I'm adding Primaris to my Blood Angels it's about time I get him. Not sure if you've done him, but a Castellan Crowe video would be interesting. I've done him, but I'm not fully happy with him. As for Primaris models we've not had yet, top of my list is Pedro Kantor, for my Crimson Fists.

Heyyy! So I started this video and my own Mephiston. But got caught up in something else and had to come back after awhile. But I definitely went too light on my first coat of Blood Angels Contrast. Is it safe to go over it again???? I'm not very experienced with contrast paint.

Yep it’s ok to do another light coat. You will be layering up Anyway so can fix any mistakes.

Looks gorgeous, random Q just wondering, do you use contrast as a sort of guide where to layer as my brain doesn’t get painting the mini with contrast n then basically doing the old base coat -layer-highlight going over the contrast?

This video might help! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXOTlaWsbLqZo5Y Basically the contrast fully covers the section, and the layer stages make areas of the section where the light would shine on them look brighter. The contrast acts as the shadow, and you add some more paint on top to make some parts look brighter. The skin tutorial should show what I mean, but let me know if it doesn’t make sense!
