CRACKING video, bet you're tyred after all that work 😉 Sorry, couldn't resist. Respraying the rims whilst the tyres were off was the right choice. Did the same with my Trailer last year (10" Mini wheels on that though) saves any possible overspray 👍. A new colour for the bike though eh?? Can't wait to see what it'll be. Superb video as always Mr Miller 😁

It amazes me the age of tyres isn't considered on MOT's. Bought a car recently with 28 year old tyres that had just been passed (since replaced of course).

They are, if your tyres are below the legal minimum tread in the central three quarters or have visible cords exposed it is an MOT failure.

A great video Joe, and a good spot with the tyres. Motorbike tyres are a critical part of how a bike handles, more so than an any other vehicle (running the tyres in is fun). Good result on the wheels, a nice choice of colour, and think the bikes really coming together now.

Ferrari Red for the rest of the Bike with the Black trims is an awesome combination, and a bit of FIAT in the mix.

I like this combination. I remember the first er5 test that I have read featured a red bike and it looked good even with the gray-silver wheels. However I would suggest Kawasaki lime green. If you have a sporty Fiat with the trademark yellow, you should have a Kawasaki with the trademark green. Edit: It just hit me. I wouldn't be surprised if he went for yellow to match the seicento. Nah he said no.

The maxxis are risky in the rain if I'm going to be honest, the CST stands for Cheng Shin Tyre and they're (from my experience) dreadful in the rain....so just be cautious in rain and don't be too crazy. I bought my bike some lovely Pirelli Angel C.T tyres and I'm never going to change brand as long as I live. They feel like you're superglued to the road even in rainstorms

Time will tell...I don't ride crazy fast or very often in the rain in general, but ANYTHING'S better than cracked 14 year old tyres!

If I was you I wouldn’t use the Avon road riders they are bad for cracking regardless of age most would use Bridgestone I find metzeler for me are the best

The bike came with the Avons, but I'm keen to try the new Maxxis ones, particularly with their distinctive lack of cracks...

Your spindles in the wrong way, that's why it wouldn't come out. It should come out the way the manual says.
