I used to do this for a living, hope you wore a mask while sanding since it looks like powdercoat and the dust is pretty bad for you. Other that that im impressed, looks great. Wet painting like that outdoors aint easy. We hade some diffrent equipment but the way we did it was pretty much the same. Good job!

Now that's how ya paint a wheel correctly...Did mine the same way,guess it's the autobody background and wanting it done right..150 bucks and around 15 hours and two years later not flaking anywhere

Questo video illustra esattamente quello che NON SI DOVREBBE MAI FARE per il restauro dei cerchi in lega..., in modo particolare l'applicazione di qualunque tipologia di stucco che alla prima sollecitazione tende a saltare via...!!! Meglio rivolgersi ad aziende specializzate nel restauro/rigenerazione cerchi anche se il costo è maggiore, il risultato sarà infinitamente superiore...!!!

Did you quit the masking tape when paint Still wet or once it dried? It so you did a pass to the masking tape with a razór or just you tape off??

The wheels would have to be something I was madly in love with to put that much time/effort into. Body filler on the wheels? Nope - use a metal filler instead...unless you like the idea of doing it all over again.

I would definitely invest in a sand blaster kit

Unless you already have a good 2-stage compressor you looking at a grand for anything used that will get the job done. ---- A wet blaster for the pressure washe r is OK too but they absolutely eat sand. Tractor supply med coal slag seems to be best for rough work like rusted rims

Nice job. But let me give you an advise: WEAR GLOVES!!! When you degrease your surface with any chemicals, wear gloves! Safety for your skin. And, don't touch the surface you gonna paint with bar fingers, you will get back grease on your surface.

Wow…in the time it took you to prep one rim a set of 4 just got powder coated and baked. Oh, and thanks for that generic bass drop @ 12:42. At least you didn’t just cram it down our throats without the fade, had a bit of time to prepare the volume knob. I guess nice job but bro, switch to powder coat. The time it took you to tape off the black just for that little silver strip was excruciating to watch 😂
