I especially like how that backpack came out. I mostly use base and layer paints, but have certainly found Contrast Paints useful in all sorts of hobby projects.

I'm a huge fan of contrast paints but have been trying out base and layers on my Astra Militarum army and now a big fan of that too! 🤣 I found it a bit difficult when I started the hobby so contrast paints were great to get started and practice with.

With contrast paints i use them as they are. You can thin them with contrast medium for different effects but the contrast paints are quite different from the regular layer/base paints. Have fun getting yours painted! Thank you 👊

You could add dust around the boots with a dry brush, I think that would work well

@@tabletopskirmishgames may I ask. If I plan on ever adding some dust to a figure, even over a lot or all of it, can it be done with any paint job that is finished? Say I’m trying to get close to painting like the GW box art or “eavy metal style”, can I then always later on add the dust and grime? Or could I run into issues aesthetically speaking?

As always awesome guide 🤩👍 Im quit new to painting my self, but ive been told that contrast paint is great when used with a zenathal highlight. Would love a video where you used that technic 😊

You’ll definitely get better results with a Zenithal. I’ve tried dry brushing a zenithal but didn’t do a good job … but that’s on me. Ideally you want to use an airbrush for best results - I don’t have one yet. There’s some good guides on dry brushing a zenithal by Vince Venturela 👊

Fantastic paint job. The finished project looks absolutely stunning. However, I think after you're surpassed 20 paints and are painting fingernails, I'm not sure if "quick" is the right adjective lol

If I remember rightly you can choose the clan they come from, but I believe Snikrot is a Blod Axe. I'm not great at the lore tbh 🤣

You might like Kolectiv SG, he is a great painter with lots of awesome techniques. He’s painted the Ork Nob here ..l kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYOmh6Bjdsaflbc … and did an brilliant job using regular paints 👊
