I like what you did near the end with the pointy chisel, scraper, thing! That was the first time I’ve seen anyone add that touch, and I think it looks great and makes a lot of sense to add.

Great video! I am glad to see some new paint brands tried on KZbin. Also, your assumption on the wheels is correct. I have seen wartime original colour photos where the rear face of the wheel is left in red oxide primer :)

Great work, and helpful tutorial. With heavy Weathering and mud effects, I wondering if masking is necessary at all, maybe just a brush
@coldemonspl3 жыл бұрын
Well, it depends of your needs. I made the weathering because of my model but there is a lot of people who make only light dusting so the mask are perfects then. :)

I actually used the quick wheel for my Abrams and purchased many more but should I clear coat them after I paint them rubber black had to touch up a lot after using
@coldemonspl2 жыл бұрын
The most important is to have good primer for the painting. If they are to tight just use sand paper to make the holes bigger a bit. :) No clear coat is needed.

Great "how to"! A search for AK interactive red primer returns many different bottles. What is the reference of the color you used?
@coldemonspl3 жыл бұрын
I use AK 180 red primer. And if you ask about reference... well, i don't have any specific. Just what I saw with my own eyes on other surfaces, what I read and common sense. :)

Is there anything special about that pencil besides the magic that you seem to be able to do with it? Is it just a regular, soft-lead pencil?

Yep. Regular, cheap, not funcy stuff :)

No, no, fajnie to wychodzi. Szczególnie to błoto, którego ani za mało ani za dużo, tak w sam raz, a przyznać muszę, że wiele modeli ma tych śladów zużycia i tego błota po prostu za dużo. Oczywiście to moja opinia. Pozdrawiam serdecznie Ciebie i wszystkich którzy to czytają.
@coldemonspl3 жыл бұрын
Dzięki. Wiesz, błoto i generalnie to kwestia gustu. :):):)
@mariusmarius42833 жыл бұрын
@@coldemonspl. Masz rację, to kwestia gustu. Dobrze zrobiony weathering świetnie wydobywa detale, model staje się naprawdę plastyczny, czy jak to nazwać, nabiera dodatkowego wymiaru.

OutStanding!!! I have a Leopard AVLB, that I'm getting ready to paint the wheels.......By Hand. BUT, after seeing this video, and (actually purchasing 'Quick Wheel' masks for a Different tank build) getting ready to paint those wheels....I Just might get those masks for the Leopard as well!!! AND as an added bonus, showing how to weather the wheels is Truly Remarkable....I especially like the oil stains near the end of the video, VERY Realistic! QUESTION: I see that as you are painting the wheels with the masks, do you.... 1) Paint the wheels with the polycap attached inside the wheel (I am afraid that the paint might do something to that plastic). 2) Do you paint the wheels halves FIRST, before gluing them together with the polycap inside??🤔
@coldemonspl Жыл бұрын
Thx for your commen! Ad1. I paint the wheels with poly caps Ad2. I paint them when they are glued as a one piece. :)
