Really enjoyed watching you create this lovely scene... capturing them in dance!!! Oh, yes, I agree about Columbus... "In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue!" We were also taught he discovered America!!! I know the Native American Indians didn't agree!!! In California we pronounce the beautiful plant, Bougainvillea as... "Boo gun vay' ya" ... we have many bushes on the slopes around our home. Winter or summer, always blooming!!! Thank you for another wonderful Watercolor Wednesday!!! Loved the music!!! I feel like the dancers came alive as you painted them! So incredible! The music was lovely too. I wish to be somewhere warm, dancing in the courtyard full of Bougainvillea. Just beautiful Paul. Loved it. I always feel your paintings are always more real than the picture .. Loved your techniques of the shading , dropping in stronger tones to create the shadows in the outfits. I can relate to do not breathe 😁 When I sketch human figures the face is always tricky. Especially when putting in the features and contours. It's brilliant art work. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Will definitely try it. Some day soon. Thankyou and looking forward to next week.
