I believe that I am using the same shade of colors that you are, and Im not really having trouble blending (I have a mop brush). But I keep getting two streaks of red and yellow without any of the soft uniqueness that you had.

It’s hard to say without watching you but let’s start with the colours.. are you using the same ones or different shades? Are you having trouble blending?

Long canvas will work, the proportions will be a little different. (Closer together) maybe more difficult to paint as well

Hi Joni, So thought i would have a go at your wishing pool with the tree below, didn't have greatest brushes as waiting on my mop, filbert etc arriving, no excuses loll, but they were hard to work with lolll, but in my angst i could not get the sunlight beams correct, just looked like 6 white lines, didn't force the brush i even tried 3 different brushes loll :-( so have painted over it, you are so amazingly talented. I got so frustrated at one point wanted to throw the canvas haha!!! but will give it another go again tomorrow. Can tell defo been 30yrs since holding a brush. I also wanted to know do you have a paypal account to send some money next week to say ty for the privilege of your tutorials they help so much x
