No, you do not talk too much! It is good information, and whenever it is repeated, that is even better. We learn by repetition (ever since elementary school, ha ha). Keep talking, we learners are appreciative of this wealth of information, David!

Noooo, you are NOT talking too much!! I love listening and absorbing all of your knowledge you so generously share with everyone for free. I love your art and your patience to explain everything in such detail. I don't know who are the people complaining, but your gifts are not for them. They can always go imitate artists without understanding the purpose and the meaning of each brush stroke. You're an amazing teacher and artist and I hope one day after this pandemic to be able to attend your workshops in person. Thank you! :-)

A polite reminder to those who just flash on this page and put a thumbs down or complain about the length of the video. Mr Johnson has taken the time to teach us and actually teach. Not speed painting teaching and I can't thank him enough as are all of his followers. If you do not want to learn don't watch it. This is saved my sanity and I can't think of enough for the free videos so be thankful someone is still willing to teach and always be willing to learn. And then go on the documentary I watched said he saw purple in the center of sunflowers. Everyone that Mr Jensen my cavalier who I I just am his biggest fan. Has taken the time to teach the history which is imperative to know because it does help you learn and he is the best instructor I've ever come across. So be please be polite because we do like the length of his videos. And I do enjoy putting my fingers in the paint it's fabulous it works and you feel like you're more a part of the painting in a strange weird way. So thank you sir and I think your staff and your wife and your children for the dedication that you have given to all of us in cyberland. I am unable to go anywhere due to my site and I just can't thank you enough God bless you keep putting your fingers in the paint I love the liberty of doing that and just keep painting. I'm trying to learn miwi and I do love that I used talk to text so hopefully this is coming out properly. Thank you so much sir blind in Idaho

The best way to learn is to watch and listen..in my view. Nothing worse than watching someone do something (especially with colour mixing and painting techniques), and not understanding why they did it. I suppose those that don't like to listen to you could always turn the sound down. Once again another beautiful painting Dave. Always a pleasure watching you and listening to you. Best wishes..David in the UK.

When I saw this one I thought, "Oh, I know when you did this one." And then I realized that painting wasn't it. I watched you do something similar with same sort of flowers in a purple vase and I painted that one. Want to do more of these. I'm fortunate to live at a prairie preserve here in Illinois. I've taken lots of photos, and I hope this spring we have a less wet one so I can go out and do some watercolor sketches and so forth. Enjoy your teaching ( no, you don't talk too much, Dave). Looking forward to more. (:
