When I see pansies, I think of my dads - now in heaven. When he was a kid, during the depression years, he worked on his uncles pansy farm. :)

My 203th. Like birds flowers never loose there being beautiful and soothing the mind. It never gets boring looking how watercolor does its own thing. With pansies and butterflies it's like 🪄 magic. Thanks . I don't have a magic stick so it rains still continuously 😢. But we stay joyful🎉😊wim

Morning Wim! I so enjoyed your message yesterday about the experience you had while painting the rock - very interesting ! I hope that you will continue to enjoy these videos as I continue to look forward to your messages and wonder about the art you are creating ! It’s raining continuously here too, in fact we just had hail, and it is very windy, which is so worrying. But we try to keep joyful so thank you for that reminder! Sending new year hugs, Diane.

It's always pansy time here - so you have them there in winter do you? Little troopers that they are, keep popping up all over the place!

Another sweet and lovely tutorial. I love the look of pansies but where I live they are annuals (I think they are....🤔). I would have a whole pile of them around my flower beds if they came back each year. There are so many colors to choose from! I will be painting loads of these, pale and vibrant, and I hope they will somewhat resemble your beauties. I am VERY grateful for the downloadable sketches. I CANNOT draw! Yet......Thank you Diane! Cheers

The pansies are amazing in their durability. They barely stop flowering here (northern France). By November they have died back a lot, but they are flowering again in February/March depending on the weather. They don't die down to nothing, but they come back and grow bigger, and as well they seed easily so they pop up all over the place. They grow between the paving stones on our 'patio' and there is only sand underneath. Very very hardy! Such little troopers! I will be painting them often!!!!

I love pansies ❤️. Their velvety texture, beautiful colors and the fact that they attract bees…all the better! You, again, made theses flowers look so easy to paint. I wish I had them growing somewhere near my house, but sadly, I don’t. I’ll have to rely on yours and your sketch which you graciously offer for free❤️. The colors you have chosen are perfect! I can’t wait to give them a try. And you are so right, less is more. We all have that feeling that it needs just a touch here and there and the next thing you know…you’ve ruined it😞. I think I should make a sign and put it on my painting desk …”LESS IS MORE”. Maybe I should have it tattooed on my arm….lol. (Not!). Thanks Diane, so much, for the beautiful pansies you’ve given us today. We all need some color in our lives and you have truly done that today❤️. Hugs to you ,Diane and Tamsin ,for all the work you both do to get these tutorials out to us every day ❤️. Nell
@DianeAntoneStudio3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Nell! I really love reading your comments, always make me smile! Glad that you aren't planning a tattoo on your arm - a sign around your neck will do the trick! My catch-phrase is "That shouldn't take long" and Tamsin laughs at me for constantly underestimating how long things will take - I said I'll have it put on my gravestone, and it shouldn't take long to do! Thanks so much for your appreciation, and have fun painting the pansies!

Could you please direct me as to the brand and name of the brushes you use, I'm so confused as to what kind, yours all seem to have such nice soft pointy tips, I'm a beginner and I just don't know, I'm wanting to buy a round, dagger and liner.
@DianeAntoneStudio3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rita, if you look at the most recent video you will find information about where I get my brushes from in the description below the video. I actually buy the brushes I use from a supplier in Japan. If you contact them they will send you a price list and you can order them direct. They aren’t expensive and shipping is not expensive either. Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks for supporting the channel!I really appreciate it.
