How to Paint Rocks - Separating Light & Shadow

After last week's introduction of painting one rock, I thought it fitting to let you see how a cluster of rocks can be painted. It's a matter of observation of what is in the light and what is in the shadow. Then pushing the rocks forward by what you paint beside them or visually pushing them back by painting a glaze over them. Adding the thickest texture is last.
