This looks great! I'm excited for the new kill team box. I have some of the old scouts and as fun as they are these ones look so much better in primaris. I'd say two five man squads that way you can specialize them and plan how you're going to start. Great video as always Andy :)

When I get around to picking some up, mine will be sons of Cretacia. Currently been painting up a lot of veterans for my FT - blade guard, terminators, sternguard etc, but I think i'm definitely going to need some of these Scouts to replace the losses after Baal.

Just picked mine up, been a Dark Angel player for a long, long time. Going two units of five for flexibility, paired with one unit of five infiltrators, I think it'll be a really good force to screen the deepstrikes.

I plan to get these at some point for my Blood Angels. Maybe when they see solo release. I've just added 15 jump intercessors to my army with this year's Christmas box. I've always considered scout elite small units so rarely field them in 10's.

2x5 as they are there for utility, not ouput or defence... Ive pre-ordered my box amd will be adding them to my Imperial fists or crimson fists force, or just making some more black Templars Neophytes, not sure yet! Great scheme, thanks for sharing 💪👍

Excellent work! Tell me; do you use contrast paints out of preference or to save time? I've been looking forward to new Scouts for ages, so much so I spent a small fortune buying up Black Templar Neophyte bits for my eventual Salamander's 7th Company. Still can't figure out what to colour to paint the fatigues though, there's little official content depicting Salamanders scouts.

Run your scouts in 5 man units. They aren’t designed to be fighters but more scoring and actions. 5 man units are less prone to blast and are easier to hide.

Scouts make no sense in the lore. Forward operations isn't work you'd ever give green troops. Space Wolf scouts make way more sense

If your applying real world logic to it I guess. But a marine scout is already far superior to like a navy seal or member of the sas. Remember they start training and physical changes from like 12. So I’d say there still pretty trained and ready for those kinds of operations.

@@MediocreHobbies I guess. But that's also one of the annoying inconsistencies in the lore, training them since they were children. Yet lots of background stories talk about hand-picked "great warriors". Oh well, I still prefer the wolf versions of the scout concept 🙂

Keep your eyes peeled for signs: a look of smugness, stains down his top, and/or a rash around the mouth. Only then will we truly know if Andy is the chose one who was foretold.
