My guess it, the top half of the speech bubble wasn't done in one line so it's s little jagged. Also the vision seems like it's s shade too dark? That's all I got haha, it looks amazing tho, I'll be trying this later.
@codefiveart4 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Nope that’s not what I was thinking. Although, yeah, the speech bubble could have been better.
@jandewandelaar67374 жыл бұрын
You cut the outline stencil too close to the edge, giving you overspray. It's pretty noticeable on the red one in the middle, but you can also see it on the orange and yellow ones on the right,
@codefiveart4 жыл бұрын
@@jandewandelaar6737 that’s a very good observation! I definitely noticed that too. But it’s not what I’m looking for. However, if no one gets what I noticed, then I can declare you a default winner because that’s definitely a mistake in the process.
@jandewandelaar67374 жыл бұрын
@@codefiveart I noticed another thing. The orange dude with the green one in front of him, they should have been swapped. The perspective gets wonky when he's further down, but still behind the green one.

Very nice and great lesson....as long as the artwork is done on plywood or canvas, and *not* on buildings, bridges, or structures without a permit.

Very cool. Starts with a great topic and execution. But humor and music also stand out. Thanks for the video. And other than one orange and one green having what look like uneven background color I don't see the errors. No prize for me I guess! Keep up the good work!

That’s true, I do need to get better at using the transparent black evenly.

But not what I had in mind!
@FranklyEpic4 жыл бұрын
To be honest I wouldn't really call this a mistake, but I would have done layer one as a solid black silhouette of the character, and laid the colored parts inside of it. It would have made cutting out your black layer easier, and if you used registration marks aligning everything would have still been very easy. It's the way I did my among us paintings, and they came out looking alright. It would have left you not having to have bridges visible in the final image without doing touch ups.
@codefiveart4 жыл бұрын
You know, that’s a good point. It’d waste more paint, but that’s okay. I was aiming for easy consistent black lines, and your approach would hazard the chance of getting the inside colors slightly off, maybe squeezed on one end. BUT, still a really good idea. Thanks for bringing it up!
@FranklyEpic4 жыл бұрын
@@codefiveart you're 100% right about the amount of paint, but that really would be a negligible amount of paint usage. Aligning them without registration marks would be made more difficult, and when I did my among us paintings I didn't use registration marks, and did end up mis aligning a few of them. But overall after I missed uo twice, I figured out why and didn't mess up any more of them. For me, I go for aesthetics first, and would rather do a tad more work aligning stencils to avoid bridges. That's just my train of thought. I found you on the stencils sub reddit, so I figured a little back and forth would be good for both of us. Follow me on IG to see what I do, I just lurk on the stencils page now. @franklyepic and I'll follow you back.

One of my fav so far. Seriously nice work on this one, nice editing and I really dig the final piece. This makes me wanna get back into the damn spray paint again. My guess on the incorrect thing, ‘light source’?
@codefiveart4 жыл бұрын
Not what I was thinking of, but I know that piece isn’t perfect.
@codefiveart4 жыл бұрын
Buuuut. That’s definitely an oversight of flipping the stencils. The light source can still be above the speech bubble, since I have them all facing the middle

So technically, I’m right?

Nope! Light source still is good in my perspective.
