Um, actually... 🤓The purpose of the fuller is to strengthen the blade with that half-circle shape, and to make the weapon a bit lighter. I'm not sure why it started, but the rumors about it being to undo the vacuum effect of stabbing someone are completely erroneous and far too widespread; there is no evidence whatsoever that supports them having such a function. Also, this tutorial, and the others you have done, are absolutely incredible and have really helped me grow as a digital artist! Some of my best pieces turned out so well only because of techniques I've learned in your videos. ^-^
