I cannot believe the variety of paintings that you bring to us. Each week is a new learning experience of the style, medium and tool used. I love the way that you teach us so much. There is no better place to learn than from you. Either in You Tube lessons or the Ginger Cook Academy. Ginger, you are the best teacher out there. Jon is such an amazing tech person and he is so helpful to us whenever we need him. Thank you both so much!

Wow Ginger, you packed so much into this evening’s painting; it was like watching a puzzle come to life. There is so much to learn from ODG's; I'm so glad you have given us so many opportunities to discover how they used paint to create art, and now using that knowledge we can create our own art. Thank you Ginger, Jon, and all of the Stuffy Staff for all you do in creating, teaching, and challenging us to become better artists. HAH 🎨🖌🫶

I am pleased to say I am working on this painting. What a wonderful experience this has been and such a wealth of information full of lessons and technique. I have to honestly say, most of what I have learned came from you Ginger. Life has been so stressful for me but since I know you, I can find mental relief from all the haunting mental things I have no control over. You are a deep thinker and a very talented Artist which is what I gravitate towards....and just what I needed! Thank you Ginger for sharing your art with the world!

This is so neat. Thank you for showing us. I don’t think I could tackle this, as I’m just a green member. Thank you so very much for adding the beagle pic to be downloaded for the green members! I will be painting this! I love beagles! I had two when I lived in the country. Layla and Taylor. ❤️

I always wondered what would happen if you underpainted certain parts of the background (the left third or so) a cooler color if it would add more depth and contrast.
@gingercooklive2 ай бұрын
It actually can be done in several areas. Like if you were painting a sunset over the ocean with rocks on a cliff you might paint the sky a yellow (which is a must color for a sunset) and the ocean area blue and the rocks paynes gray with darks brown.. Excecially when having one area light in a painting and another dark. With acrylics you do this differently than oils.
@GovenorJerryBrown2 ай бұрын
@@gingercooklive Interesting. Thanks for your input. I've seen several people do this kind of Hopper recreation and they all use the yellow underpainting. I will be starting my own soon so I guess I will see.

Inspirational tutorial Ginger. Love the subject matter and style. So.....I went to purchase the specific detail brushes you're recommending in this tutorial and followed your amazon link. Since there are a good number of detail brushes shown I dont know which ones to pick. Please advise.... pretty please.

I really do enjoy watching your painting videos. I would like to request that you go back to playing all of the sound in both ears. I am hard of hearing especially in one ear and it makes it quite difficult to follow along on the newer videos whereas I don’t have that problem on older ones. Thank you

I am so sorry but we have new a new sound mike system. You can adjust from your computer however.
