Brilliant as always, im sure loads of people will watch this and say, yeah ai can easily do that and it looks great!...working my way through my tyranid army I started after your first video about the new schemes...using the 3rd scheme in the first video..have a swarmlord done and nearly a tyranofex...however, not sure how to do a good colour for the bulbous pouch attached to the big gun linked to the body...would also love to know what colours to use for the wings of hive tyrant flying thing (i think probably the same colour, like a ochre or flesh brown maybe...this is for the 3rd of the new schemes with the drakenhof nightshade....lost without you! SOS

I don’t plan on adding another crazy colour into the Scheme for wings and that. Just the normal skin tones. And same for any of the other parts. You make add a bit more high lighting to those parts mix a touch of white into the last highlight maybe. Just to make it stand out and pop.

I’ve always wanted to use a sway of if those guys as dnd minis. Imagine the look on your players face when 5 of these things hit the table. Just use hill giant stats if you’re in a hurry and it’s game night

Looks great! These models are fantastic and have been an absolute joy to paint so far. Not sure how well they will work in rank and file. I've had difficulties lining them up next to each other purely for display though I did pick the spear option which obviously has some added length. Very curious to see how it works out.

Always liked the look of lizardmen but never got any back then, but will probably pick a up a few just for fun soon enough now that we have new sculpts. Though they will be painted green since we all know lizardmen should be green :p

Hey great video ^^. I just have a quick question. Do you think this still works well when the model is just primed grey or maybe white? Im kinda new to painting and dont feel to comfortable in the Zenithal priming thing😅

You could just give the model one spray but you will get a slightly different result than here. Using white will make a bit difference as well. Here's why I use the two sprays so you can decide for yourself! Two different rattle/spray cans are used-one full solid coat of black, and a lighter coat of grey seer sprayed from above to add light/dark areas. The lighter coating of grey seer adds a small amount of grit(too small for the eye to see) from above to give the contrast paint a better surface to cling too. I was always intrigued by the Lizardmen, but I personally didn't like the old sculpts. Loved the idea of the army, but not the execution. These new models are amazing though, and this paint scheme looks fun and easy. So whilst i'm not a AoS player and I won't be doing Old Worlds either, I'm still tempted to pick up one box of these just for fun.

Yeah the new sculpts are on a whole other level compared to the old lizardmen, and would be great for painting pieces even if you have no intention of playing them! Thanks for watching, always great to hear from people who still watch even if they weren't a fan of the content at the start.
