How to Paint Trees in Watercolor

thank you for that link, it is very helpful. I am 67 and just beginning my art journey as a hobby in retirement. I guess one could call it cheating but I am using a digital painting program called Rebelle, it really simulates watercolors, oils and the like. I can translate your videos into it. I use it because: first and foremost I am lazy, when I am done painting for the day I don't want to clean up brushes, I can just save my work and walk away LOL and secondly I live in a small apartment with no place for art (its fully carpeted except kitchen and bathroom) and lastly I have a very demanding and blind cat who begs attention and will jump up on desk.

Yes, the broken lines in trees make all the difference between childish looking trees and artistic ones.
