Hello Pete, have you seen the video on the Citadel-Colour Homepage for "Contrast and Classic Combined: Stormcast Eternal" a Base of "Retributor Gold" painted with "Talassar Blue" Contrast Paint, the yellow paint component of Gold makes the blue shine turqoise, without loosing the metallic glimmer... now I'm thinking about Purple and Orange Metal.

The only difference between them is the scale. So yes you could use this tutorial for bolt action para troopers

I really struggle with washes, so I'm very interested in your technique here. You water them down and apply them heavily, but do you then soak up the pooled areas, or do you leave them because the wash is so thin?
