I love this tutorial. I’ve done several but this one in particular helped me with the wet on wet technique. I used a smaller brush and found I could better control the water. I am a beginner painting on cheap non-cotton paper and was really struggling with wet on wet. This one came out great. Can’t wait to try it on better paper. ~~~These lovely tutorials have helped me keep my sanity during Covid for sure!

Hi from France, I started watercolor painting this summer with my thique sisters, we totaly love it, thanks to Emma were doing great progrès, I have switched to arches paper, its sont much easier, but expensive. I find the cheapest plan is buying xtra large pages 75cm × 55cm, then cutting it to size . Have fun painting

You said "Aaaw Man" like I do. I'm so honored to use the same expletives as you. Do you ever get raw and throw out the "F" bomb or talk about your husband's gas? You should an "Emma Jane Raw". Adults only. And talk about what women really talk about when they're making art to heal their demons. I really love your work and you're so positive. They look awesome! Someone already mentioned this but masking fluid would help the white dots. I would have loved to see a tiny fairy thing or the intension of one! Also, I have a question on masking fluid. I tried to do some dandelions using masking fluid but mine seems to go on so thick that I couldn't make small delicate marks. Any ideas?

I love this! Fun(?) fact about that red mushroom. It's called fly agaric or Amanita muscaria which is noted for it's toxic and hallucinogenic properties.🍄😲

Actually fly agaric is hallucinogenic only in certain circumstances and not in others the shamans in Siberia have used it but probably add other ingredients. This one can actually just make you sick. The deep purple or blue gilled ones are the ones that contain psylicybin but please get a book and join your local mushroom club before trying on your own as there are mirror examples that are literally destructive to the liver. You can actually get quite educated by reading books available online as well. Check out anything by Paul Stamets he knows amazing information about mushrooms and has a KZbin channel as well.
