I was able to modify your process for use with acrylics. Thank you for demystifying the look. (I had more of a tendency to make mine look like semi-transparent rocks). The painting turned out quite nicely, if I say so myself.

Love the greens you created. Gorgeous! I'm trying like crazy to hear everything you say (I'm new to wc) and your voice and delivery are so happy and energetic and speech busy, that I'm missing a lot of what you say! Lol I'm from New England, and I spoke very fast too. Must be the "England's" that caused it eh? I adore your approach to wc--just jump in and DO it! I'm a bit timid, not about using supplies, more about painting so much junk. That's the toughest part, and you make it look SO easy, Kirsty! Wow! Anyway, thank you!!!!! Fanna Turano Denver, CO USA

This is really a clear how to! Great stuff Kirsty👍😊 May I ask why you used the white coloured pencil instead of white paint? Whether it be watercolour or gouache or acrylic? Was this for ease of use or the pencil just shows up better?😉💞

when you pay for one of her tutorials, do you get to keep it forever on your comp? so that you can do it over and over? I cannot find any place that allows you to question.

Can I use white acrylic instead of white gel pen?
@luthien25317 жыл бұрын
You can if you want to! I think Kristy is using gel pen because it's easier to control when you're putting down such a small amount.

Good job it’s what I need to know but I wish you’d take a second and slow down at each step. I’m a beginner and I want to learn how to do raindrops
@yourlydontknowjack5 жыл бұрын
a purist might just use gouache with a fine brush and water (or not for sharp highlights) instead of a pencil/gel pen, same difference really :D great video otherwise, much appreciated from a hobbyist perspective :)
