How to Paint Waves - Oil Painting Real Time Paint Along Tutorial

In this real time paint along class we will paint a crashing wave in oil.
For the class you will need :
1) a 400mm x 300mm canvas (roughly 16" x 12").
2) Set of bristle brushes
3) Finer liners and fine round brushes
4) 1cm (0.5") Soft Filbert Brush
5) Painting Knife
6) I estimate using these colours during the lesson : Titanium White, Paynes Grey, French Ultramarine, Cerulean Blue, Viridian Green & Cadmium Yellow.

Fantastic demo with very clear colour mixing instructions that most demos miss out plus you take time when your working and that's a big plus for newbees slow is the way to go.

Absolutely brilliant,Nolan. My second passion to snow, is waves. Little dabs,and,taps....has to help with snow texture,yeah? The only canvas I had was 60 x40 CM. A big wave,with maybe a Gannet?

I love this painting and love your way of explaining. BUT: I try it for the second time now, and for the second time I'm totally desperate! I have many brushes, but none is exactly like yours, and none does what your brush does! Perhaps I just don't have enough talent. Also my second try will end up in the bin, I'm afraid. That is frustrating....
