Just beautiful! ❤ Weeping Willow trees remind me of my childhood at my grandparents house. They had a huge one in their front yard and everytime I see one I can envision my grandpa fighting them limbs to mow around it. 🤣 Thanks for the walk down memory lane! ❤

So springtime…love weeping willows! My aunt had a huge one in their front yard…we always would swing from the draping branches…and an uncle would make whistles from the branches too. I’ve always wanted a weeping willow in our yard. But we tend to move a lot.

Thank you for showing me how to use the fan brush to paint weeping willow tree. I tried to paint the weeping willow tree on the painting of Monet's and did it four times and finally gave up and just painted some bushes

Joni u are such an awesome artist. I haven't been in the group lately becuz I have done 9 of ur paintings n got so discouraged becuz ,well I didn't like them. Tried redoing them ....didn't work. So had to take a break. Taking alot of courses on websites too n realized I'm just burning myself out. HOWEVER 😊 I am now working on this painting. Just finished the weeping willow tree but my green is too light so working on that now then will move to the irises. Will post in group when done😊

I have searched high and low for light blue violet! I cannot find it anywhere and I'm in Canada. What other colour can I use or what colours can I mix to get close to what you have? This colour almost looks like periwinkle. Thank you.

Liquitex basics brand is what I use for light blue violet. You can find mix white with cobalt or ultramarine blue as well, add a touch of pink to warm it up if you like 😊
