Love your whimsy art, especially dragonflies. I wish You could see the 5x7 paintings I did of them based on your teaching. My daughter died suddenly six years ago. She had a dragonfly tattoo on her ankle and whenever her three adult children see one they think of her. Diane, this little painting is charming! What a perfect card to give someone for an engagement or anniversary. I love when you share your stories and thoughts. My career was also in education and although I'm retired, I continue to take classes and substitute. A few years back, I took a speech class for professional presentations. Our instructor was excellent and we all learned so much from him. He emphasized to us that it's human nature to use the word "um" and that it's actually okay to use during a professional speech. Diane you are wonderful and I love painting along with you. Since I'm new I do end up not having the correct supplies. I started watercolor painting finding you on KZbin to relieve stress and anxiety. I lost my sweet daddy last Sept 2021 at home while I was sitting in the living room with my mom. Then less than 5 months later my precious momma passed away on Valentine's Day 2022 suddenly in my arms. I have been so distraught and sad for a while.
