This is a fabulous painting and tutorial. Love seeing you use the fan brush in "different" ways. I have yours and love it. Also really enjoyed seeing different colour combo than the usual as well.

I need to get a good little mist bottle and some acrylic extender! Always have trouble with paint drying out. Excellent tutorial, Mrs. Cooney! It reminds me of Mark 15:39. I think I will try painting this with some crosses in the distance. :3

Do you really like the artist loft professional paint ? Would the medium artist loft or basic be too thin for your brushes? can they work well with student paint like these as well as galleria and grumbacher or just heavy paint. Please let me know. I have them on my christmas list this year, all I want is stuff to paint with LOL.

Chalk to me is better colored pencils can have wax or oils. Watercolor pencils can be ok

I am not understanding why you are not wetting your brush before taking and mixing your paint. It actually looks like acrylic. I know you misted the paper, is that the only water you use in this type of watercolor. Btw, love this comp. I hope my question doesn’t reflect my ignorance. Lol!!

So this is acrylic and I do use water. I also can use Glazing fluid medium by Golden Paint. Its a retarding medium with less problems. I mist my pallet because my paint is drying so so fast
