Do not ever ever do that with a single component paint. There is no single component acrylic,latex,enamel etc that will hold up to daily cleaning chemicals. It will slowly deteriorate and maybe only maybe last 3 months. I’ve been in the paint business for 8 years and people always come in saying they screwed up. To be safe use a two component epoxy bd classic, rustoleum rock solid etc or any two part garage floor coating/poly urea that will withstand scuffs from shoes and can be easily mopped

if using the rustoleum paint, do you need to add a sealant on top?

I love how the stark white you chose! I love the clean, sleek look of white tile. I am so excited to try this out on my awful, nasty tile. I have a long hallway to try and paint, so my question is can i paint sections at a time and then leave it and come back a few days later to paint more? Did you do each coat on same day?

Just curious, how much paint did you need to do a half bath? Going to do mine tomorrow...it’s a tiny bathroom, probably the size shown in vid, is a quart enough you think?

Great video! I have the exact same tile/colour in my powder room and am planning to paint it white next week. I was going to buy the Rustoleum tile paint but heard the fumes are outrageous. How was the scent with Beyer product? I may purchase Beyer instead. Which primer did you use?

How is the smell? I have a small elderly dog and I worry the fumes may be too much for her. What about drying times? A day? Or less? Thank you for posting.
@KelseyGonder3 жыл бұрын
As far as smell, I would describe it as no more than if you paint a room. Because it's a floor, I would give it at least 24-48 hours of drying time with a fan

What kind of primer did you use ?
@KelseyGonder4 жыл бұрын
No primer- given the prep, I didn't feel the need to prime (I mispoke a few times and said primer) but it was the porch and patio paint the whole times. Multiple coats!

Re polyurethena coating...it does yellow over time and coating will collect grime over time -- it's a bitch to remove!!! I won't ever use poly on a floor again. Highly recommend NOT doing it.

Kelsey Gonder what kind of paint is it? Is it tile paint 🎨 I thought about painting my floor
@KelseyGonder4 жыл бұрын
@@ml.vaughn2122 It is Behr porch and patio floor paint. Not specifically for tile however my thinking was if it can withstand the outdoor elements than it should be good inside. So far so good!
