You can also get a 2x Clearcoat and once applied it gives it that nice metallic finish

You have to apply sliver or chome first then the red than apply clear and it will look like car paint

To get brighter anodized red effects use lighter bright silver undercoat.

Yeah I wish that I would have done that. But I’ll probably do that when I do a touch up job on them.

@@kbtrucks Kinda has a nice Murdered candy apple look. I personally dig it. I'm gonna be doing a video of me pretty much doing the same with Steeda springs.

The paint is holding up well so far. Other than the fact that they’re always covered in dust so you can’t really see them that well 😅. But no cracks or anything in the paint so far.

Doesn't the paint crack on the spring after drying? The spring is a moving element

I was thinking the same thing when I first saw a video on it but I think it depends on what paint you use. I’ve had mine painted for about 6 months now and they haven’t cracked.

@@kriegize yeah I used dupli color, but anything that is graded for high temperature should work because it shouldn’t crack.
