if you are trying this at home, Do not i repeat DO NOT spray paint on the fans. they have been machined and designed at a certain weight to spin ideally, even a few rice grams of weight could change how they spin and slow them down making them a bit less effective.

In the US, warranty void stickers are illegal and unenforceable. In fact the FTC wants you to report the usage of them. So if you use the company's customer support and they deny you, just remember the sage wisdom advice: NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT??

I have been wanting to do this to my ASUS TUF 4090. One thing that you should have mentioned is that doing this violates your warrantee. For this reason I found a second fan shroud fans and backplate on eBay that someone had left over from adding a water block. Thanks for doing this video, it will make my job easier for sure.

For your future self, I highly recommend acrylic spray paint. Dries far quicker, dries smoother, doesn't react as easily to other materials. If I am painting one of my projects it's the only paint I use. I stay as far away from Krylon, Rust-Oleum, and other oil based paints as much as possible. Montana Gold, IronLak, or any other brand acrylic spray paint works far better. I live in a small town and my local Michaels and Hobby Lobby carry either IronLak and or Montana Gold acrylic spray paints. You can also order them online and there are TONS of color choices. Painting a GPU or RAM isn't my thing but yours turned out well. Nice work.

Ty no one local stocks Montana but I might order online, tbh i've been using car spray paint for my recent case projects and its soo nice, dries super fast and it's super durable

@@turtlehamster2289 what I mean is the parts like the plastic shrouds or the fans, you could buy a kit from the manufacturer after the fact in any color you wanted to match your build. It cost almost nothing to produce plastic pieces and if they charge like $20-$50 and people could match the color of their build and maybe even get creative with multicolored GPU’s.
