Helpful tip because I was just having trouble getting the audio to work on mine. If you have no audio and it’s not connecting use the top right button and make sure it’s connected to your Xbox usb and not the other usb you have connected to a pc or ps5 :D wasted 20 minutes figuring this because I had accidentally pushed the button at some point

Check a wall adapter or computer and see if it lights up, if it doesn't it sounds broken

@ I have done all of that unfortunately but I found somewhat of a weird solution where I updated a random controller and it worked like someone else had said but I can’t just turn on the console with my normal wired controller and it work I have to turn the Xbox on and open the game with that wireless controller for it to work it’s super weird
