My brother did fish like this for us once. I couldn't believe how simple it was, but OH SO TASTY! So, thanks for the demo. I loved your presentation shot at the end, with the chunky fries and lightly-dressed salad. Beautiful.

Cheers linzertube! I normally do a lot of whole baked fish or crumb it, so it was good to try out a different method of cooking that I dont normally do!

Honestly, I have NEVER fried fish in my life. Didn't realise it was that easy. Definitely going to give it a shot. Thanks for the video ;-) ... and you're very sweet by the way

Nice video. Yes, we should eat more fish, it's so good for you, healthy (even fried!) and quick to cook. Perhaps you could do a video where you cook the fish in a parcel (either tin foil or parchment?)

Nothing is healthy when fried. Sry to burst your bubble ;) But never mind - good ol' Paracelsus had it right, hundred of years ago: It's not the stuff itself, it's the dose that makes a poison ;) And yes, there are lots of unsaturated fats in fish. But it's still fat and is therefore still related to a huge number of different health issues.

xBris You are totally wrong, but I am not going to waste my breath or use Zac's channel for inane bickering. Until I had cancer, I used to think like you, but you would be surprised at the vast array of foods available to me. Fat IS necessary in the diet. But you believe what you wish to and I will do the same.

***** Thanks Eezee Listen! Im very sorry to hear about your cancer. I trialled out a whole fish cooked in tin foil the other night, came out wonderful. Ill get some more fish and make a video for you!

xBris People obsessed with sugar and fat are boring. A little bit of oil with food (on occasions) and a few sugary things are fine. I have read articles of people who lived to 100 and had bacon and eggs nearly every day of their life and indulged in some sugar too. If God intends for you to go, then its your time. In saying that no one has to go overboard and exercise is important. I'd rather have my years enjoying a few things than watch everything. But fish cooked other ways is good too.

Malt vinegar, I have heard that before! Thought never tried it
@KowboyUSA10 жыл бұрын
Cooking4Students Malt Vinegar has an unique tang that goes very well with saltiness. Since it stores well, it 's also handy to have on hand if the lemons are out of season so are expensive or unavailable. Some people don't care for it's flavor, though.
