Yeah, most cooking videos don't show you that kind of thing. Beginners try to make stuff without knowing all the other stuff involved in cooking. Then they get frustrated cause it's more work then they thought, or even worse end up cross contaminating other foods with the raw meat juice.

Great job on showing and explaining the process…… just a tip for coating the fish with the “fish-fry mix”: I use a large ziploc bag to put the fish-fry mix in and just add the fish to the bag with the mix and zip the bat closed (making sure there’s plenty air trapped in the bag) and tumble the fish in the fish-fry mix until fully coated ….. works just fine for me😊

I have always preferred to microwave in a steamer to keep the slight taste of fish intact. I was raised with crispy fish. Tempura coating is a variation of your recipe. Your personality presence on camera snd your chef skills cooking and explaining in detail your ingredients, process, and results are excellent. Your creation rivals tempura because you eliminate the frying with s heartier crust. Gold Star to you You're my go to now.

I’ve made fish like this and it’s fabulous. My mom showed me that trick when she was taking off weight she would spray the olive oil or canola oil whatever kind of oil you want to use for preferably olive oil in the mustard in the mayo, hot sauces, fabulous to each his own and definitely the cornstarch really helps that crispiness with the cornmeal and flour for. Thank you so much wonderful recipe.

I'm team mayo/mustard. I also use the garlic aioli or chipotle aioli. I use a breader for chicken but never thought to use it for fish. Definitely trying it!

I don't have anything against mayonnaise I love mayonnaise. I just never used it as a minder. But also grew up with my mom, Grandma. And everybody else using eggs in a batter. So I guess Manny's is the same thing. As nothing but eggs, so I'm going to try it.

Looks good and I'm going to try this. I pretty much use most of the ingredients you do especially the Louisiana fish fry, love the seasoning flavor. And I also deep fry my fish. So I'm going to do the oven next time and add the few ingredients I don't normally use. Thanks for the tip. Have a blessed day ❤
