How to paracord sleeve a Gameboy Link cable.

For the paracord search for 550 Paracord and that will be the size to use.
The heatshrink on the internal wires is 1mm
The heatshrink on the ends of the connectors is 3/8"
The generic cables I use can be found for just a few dollars on ebay or aliexpress.
This is the same basic process used for Gameboy color and pocket cables too.

I love this and I will do this one day. I don’t like the heatshrink part though. Doesn’t anyone sell a metal or plastic/rubber piece to put on instead? (Instead of the white heatshrink) kinda like a gamecube controller

Yo. Would you know why my gba sp detects the cable but won't let me trade in pokemon R/S/E? I've cut into a KMD 4 way link cable and mine had 6 cables instead of 4. Help would be greatly appreciated

Couldn't you just tie a knot to the link cable using the internal string of the paracord and pull the cable through? It would be a lot faster than just removing the internal string and pushing the link cable in little by little

I thought this too when I first started paracord sleeving but it does not work. The paracord just bunches up and it doesnt make it through
