@@joymitra6057 always DrNB over EDIC . EDIC is just an additional degree that will help you get gmc registration and work in UK and get ICU experience in UK . But in India DrNB or DM are always preferred if you have additional degrees apart from these 2 then it's always good as it improves your CV

Both the editions of Bennington. And sandeep aggarwal is a very good book... I have done that but it wont help much for EDIC ... U can certainly do it if you have time.

Yes u can work as specialist in intensive care But u need to have minimum 24 months of icu experience to write edic part 2 And it is a standard exam, it don’t think it’s possible to get through the part 2 without actually working in good intensive care unit for 2 to 3 years

Hello sir... Thank you vey much for your kind appreciation.... Unfortunately experience in anaesthesia is not considered for EDIC... But if u have worked in ICU for about 12 to 18 months either during your training or post MD, u can write EDIC. U have to provide that experience certificate during registration.

Registration happens twice a year, in December and may respectively. U need your MBBS certificate and letter from HOD for the registration. Letter from HOD saying you have adequate ICU exposure ( 12 to 18 months) during your training or what ever is your post in the department. And exam registration costs about 710 Euros for non esicm members.
